CASA is an organization made up by specially trained volunteers appointed by judges to help children who are being abused or neglected. These volunteers work with kids who are having problems in their own homes, foster homes, or the foster care system. While we as Thetas cannot interact with the CASA children for privacy reasons, we hold multiple events every year to raise money for CASA which goes to training and supporting volunteer and research. Many Thetas will go on to be CASA volunteers themselves!
